The Mountain Echo is certainly not “never seen” and unexpected, but nature lovers will hopefully find it interesting, sometimes entertaining, and certainly inspiring. It follows our lives out there, in the great outdoors…in mountains and forests, seas and lakes…in hiking boots or on two wheels, and sometimes with a paddle…
We will try to give ideas for some new adventures or recall some of the already known locations. Descriptions of the equipment used will also become a recognizable part of these stories, as well as some unsorted thoughts and ramblings about outdoor life.
We will strive to answer any questions or comments, and above all to showcase the wonderful world that surrounds us through the descriptions and photographs of our trips.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Danijela and Dejan, a married couple from Rijeka and big lovers of everything outdoors, especially mountains. We won’t say much about ourselves now because we believe you will get to know us best through our stories and adventures. Here is just some basic information about each of us.
Danijela
is a professor of informatics, so you can already conclude what hers part of the “job” is. Danijela edits our blog, runs our social networks, proofreads and edits Dejan’s texts, edits photos before publication, edits our short videos and occasionally writes a story herself. Danijela is born in 1987., a zodiac fish with an eternal head in the clouds and all sorts of creative ideas – though never structured ones, she hates structure like little else 😁.
Dejan
is the author of most of the stories you will have the opportunity to read on our blog, and also the author of most of the photos – he is largely that creative energy behind it all. Dejan is also a very meticulous and rational zodiac virgo, with a special focus on cleanliness 😂, he was born in 1986., works in a bank and during the working week he only dreams of weekends in the mountains. Dejan is a highly energetic person who never rests, and is happiest when doing something active in the nature.
